Ordinary Membership

Ordinary Membership shall be available to individuals above the age of 18 years who are interested in quality in health and are working in healthcare facilities, healthcare education institutions or healthcare related services.

All applicants for Ordinary Membership shall agree to abide by this Constitution.

Application for Ordinary Membership shall be in writing to the Society or in any other manner which may be determined from time to time by the Committee.

• to attend and participate in such functions, events or activities for members of the Society as the Committee may organize for members;
• to receive the journal of the Society;
• to be nominated and elected to the Committee provided membership subscription is not in arrears;
• to utilise such facilities as are made available for members of the Society to utilise generally;
• to receive notice of General Meetings of the Society;
• to attend General Meetings of the Society and exercise one vote in respect of any motion put to a vote at such meetings;
